A William IV figured mahogany bookcase, the upper part with a semi-circular pediment with applied carved stylised foliate decoration centred on an anthemion and lotus motif above a dentil cornice and a pair of glazed doors, each with lotus-carved cruciform glazing bars and flanked by pilasters with foliate capitals, the interior with three adjustable shelves, the projecting lower section with an ogee-moulded frieze drawer above a pair of arch-panelled cabinet doors, enclosing an adjustable shelf, flanked by a pair of shaped supports with acanthus-carved capitals and paw feet, on a break-front plinth base, 150 x 247 x 48 cm
