A fine quality ormolu writing box, circa 1862, the box slope fronted with roll top back executed entirely in ormolu and monogrammed cmf in enamel with further applied raised motifs and hinged side handles, internally velvet lined to the writing slope with lacquered ink well compartment, 27 cm wide (handles folded).
