A German silver gilt mounted carved ivory tankard 19th century, Nurnberg marks, the body carved in high relief with, the figure of Apollo, the hunter and dancing bacchantes, loop handle with caryatid holding a basket of fruit, above a silver gilt base, the hinged cover with embossed and chased mythical masks and scrolling fruit and foliage, ivory finial of a seated putto squeezing a bunch of grapes into a goblet, 25 cm high
