An Australian cedar and upholstered scroll ended sofa by Joseph Sly, circa 1845, the upholstered straight back with solid cedar show timber above over scrolled arms with plain applied roundels, above a cushion seat with two bolster and two small cushions, over a plain front rail and raised on turned tulip shaped legs, stamped J. Sly on the back panel, upholstered in Lelievre 'Aiglon', 224 cm wide, 65 cm deep, 87 cm high
