A rare, early Australian cedar secretaire bookcase, circa 1835, the moulded cornice above a pair of raised half arch panelled doors with lotus leaf carved decoration, enclosing shelves above a secretaire drawer enclosing pigeon holes and drawers above two pedestal cupboards with raised pylon-shaped flame panels enclosing two short drawers, raised on plinth bases, 132 cm wide, 57 cm deep, 228 cm high.
