A collection of various sterling silver and silver plated cutlery from, the Fitzgerald family, engraved with, the script initials 'Ref' for Robert Fitzgerld, contained in a 19th century Australian cedar box with a push button lock and bale handle, comprising: fiddle pattern: a salt spoon, circa 1835, with pseudo English marks, 'Rl/lion passant/King's head/italic Ss', possibly Richard Lamb. Although, the mark is unrecorded, the italic Ss mark was used by contemporary Sydney silversmiths Alexander Robertson, Henry Cohen and Felix Lynn around this date and it is quite possible that Lamb also used this mark. Eight table spoons, six by John Lias, London 1816, one by William Eaton, London 1840, one by John Mckay, Edinburgh 1818. One teaspoon by S Hayne & D Cater, London, 1854.
