A carved cinnabar lacquer vase 18th/ 19th century, the bulbous body with high shoulders rising to a tall neck with flared lip supported on a short foot ring, deeply carved with scenes of scholars and servants in a mountainous rocky river landscape amidst pine and willow trees, between flower panelled borders, the shoulders with lotus panels on leiwen diaper ground, the neck decorated with two large panels of scenes of children at play and lotus panels on leiwen diaper ground
