A Chinese circular tureen and cover 18th century with half-moon chrysanthemum handles, decorated in underglaze blue and white with peonies, bamboo and rock garden motifs, the domed cover surmounted with a mushroom-shaped finial painted with a radiating chrysanthemum, the rim with honey-glaze edge, applied to prevent chipping.
