A red sandstone statue of a deity central Indiameter, 12-13th century, the fine featured visage flanked by pendulous ears with pierced lobes adorned with earrings, the downcast almond eyes with arching brows below an elaborate Crown at apex, fragmented halo to rear, holding a lotus flower wearing a swirling sash and adorned with jewellery, 45 cm wide, 76 cm high (figure only), 91 cm high (including stand).
