A French oak book-case cabinet, late 19th century, carved throughout with fruiting foliate motifs, the upper section with a moulded cornice above a pair of arch-glazed doors, enclosing adjustable shelves, and an open compartment flanked by resting gryphons, the projecting lower section with a pair of frieze drawers above a pair of cabinet doors, each with a carved trophy of the fruits of the harvest, on a moulded base with flattened bun front feet.
