A Thai cloth temple hanging mounted on board, the painting depicts a parade with elaborately decorated elephants carrying the Royal Family & numerous other people performing. An important story in Thai history and culture, the cloth was hung during Buddhist festivals. Appears to be from the Ayuthaya period, 18th century. Some water damage and holes to the cloth.
