McKenzie (Wairarapa); A. Wilson ( Wellington); W.A. Guy ( Taranaki); N. A. McKenzie (Hawke’s Bay); L.V. Carmine (Buller); A. Geddes (Southland); and H.E. Davis (Canterbury). Trial matches were held Auckland, Wanganui, Invercargill and Christchurch.
