A pair of lime-green ground 'Famille-Rose' vases and covers, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, each of baluster form with short cylindrical neck, the sides painted in bright enamels with a pair of pheasant perched on rockwork among flowering peonies, blossoming prunus and other plants, between a pink-ground ruyi head border around the shoulders and stylised lappets around the base, the domed cover with matching decoration within a pink-ground floral scroll border (4) 43.
