A cinnabar lacquer vase, Qing Dynasty, the hexagonally lobed ovoid body carved in varying relief through three layers of colours with landscape panels of sages and atttendants variously occupied on pavilion terraces, with Immortals and the Hehe twins on lotus pads, within dragon and flaming pearl scroll borders below dense peony scrolls on the waisted neck, the metal base with apocryphal Qianlong seal mark, wood stand (2) 28.
