A 'Dehua' figure of a Buddhist lion, Qing Dynasty, 17th/18th century, seated on a high rectangular plinth applied with prunus sprigs, one foreleg raised over a pierced brocade ball beside a seated cub, the head raised and slightly turned to the side with mouth open, the mane and spine applied with sprig-moulded locks of hair and smaller curls, a collar of bells and tassle around the neck 28.
