A large German silver centre piece bowl, Hanau, Neresheimer & Co, circa 1900, shell shaped with three scrolling paw feet and rocaille border, 'Repousse' and chased with scrolls and foliate motifs, the scroll handle with a semi-clad young female balancing with outstretched arm, bearing spurious marks, Bm for Berthold Mueller and J. G. Piddington import marks 1878gms, 38.5 cm long.
