Mary Talbot, Born 1931, female nude and butterflies, oil on board signed and dated 'Mt 60' lower left 95 x 61 cm. Other Notes: Born in Melbourne on 1 June 1931, Talbot Studied Cit Melbourne, also with Justus Jorgensen at Eltham. She had great success with her delicate, decorative Art-Nouveau style drawings, first exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne 1957 and widely reproduced in magazines after she moved to London in 1958.
