An Australian silver plate mounted emu egg claret jug and centrepiece, second half 19th century, the helmet shaped spout and foliate engraved mounts flanked by a loop handle, beaded knopped stem on a similarly decorated foot, the detachable stopper with a cast emu finial; the centrepiece with a domed two handled cover, engraved with a Greek key border, the finial modelled as an emu standing amongst fern fronds, turned cedar base (2) 27 cm and 19 cm high Respectively
