An important silver claret jug by William Edwards, Melbourne, circa 1860, the baluster form body with applied and embossed grapes and intertwining leaves throughout, on circular foot with similar decoration and an applied silver gilt engraved plaque of the Town Hall, inscribed 'Presented with a Valuable Souvenir to Alderman George Wragge By the Citizens of Melbourne, the Movement For the Erection of the New Town Hall to Testify Their Appreciation of the Manner in Which He Originated and Promoted and For the Indefatigable Exertions Made By Him in Bringing the Same to a Successful Issue, Melbourne August 1870.'
