A George III silver chalice, ovoid bowled with gilt washed interior, decorated with a frieze at the rim of a fruiting vine and with pineapples in cartouches, raised on a short tapering stem from a domed circular foot with reeded edge. Newcastle, lacking date stamp but with maker's mark for Ann Robertson, active 1804-1810. Height 15.5 cm
