Description:
An Intricate Victorian silk taffeta day dress, in pale brown with darker details, comprising top, bustle skirt and over skirt. Possibly purchased in Glasgow circa 1880. Good condition. Together with a grey and green silk jacket and skirt circa 1880, faults. Two white embroidered pettycoats, a nightdress and a later lace and applique top, circa 1900. Provenence: originally owned by Isabella Brownlee who married W.H. Smith of Havelock, then by family descent.
