Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961, American author and journalist), nice autograph letter on a Unicef greetings card, from Hemingway to Rupert, sending Christmas greetings from Idaho, c1956. Hemingway's note, signed 'Ernesto', written below a note from Mary Hemingway 'Back to Cuba in Feb', reads in part: 'Have Been Working Here and Shooting Since October 5th. Book Going Very Well. We Are Settled Here Until End February. Things Different in Cuba Now.', window mounted together with a contemporary deckle-edged photograph of the Hemingways, overall 51 x 41 cm. Also a photograph of Erneset Hemingway with his Lancia Flaminia convertible, window mounted, overall 41 x 51 cm.
