Together with two other H.G.Wells books - 'The First Men in the Moon' (London, 1901) and 'Phoenix - a Summary of the Inescapable Conditions of World Reorganisation' (London, 1942). Aspley cherry-Garrard (1886-1959) was an English explorer of Antarctica. He was a survivor on the Terra Nova Expedition and is acclaimed for his historical account of this expedition, 'The Worst Journey in the World'.
