A good mahogany and marquetry long case clock, the dial signed Bennett, London, the silver and gilt Roman numeral break-arch dial with a subsidiary seconds dial and Arabaseque pattern spandrel ornaments, housed in an arched hood flanked by columns, with an eight-day weight driven movement, the body with an arched rectangular casement door, inlaid with shell motifs within Tunbridge Wells inlaid borders, the base of conforming decoration, 249 cm high.
