A George II Irish silver sauce boat, the oval body embossed with rural scenes including a milkmaid and a shepherdess, raised on three pad feet, with a C-scroll handle. A coat of arms with the motto ‘Spes Mea in Deo’ beneath the spout. Dublin 1758 by the Hugenot silversmith Isaac D’Olier. Old faults and repairs. Width across handle 16.5 cm
