Prestigious mere Pounamu - in the name of Tinirau, well-balanced kawakawa mere pounamu with finely defined striking edge, the blade gracefully reducing to the grip section with an off centred suspension hole. Terminating in softly defined ridges the mere signifies the work of a master craftsman and the mana of its past custodians. Small frits evident to the leading strike edge. Height 31.5 cm. Width 10.5 cm
