A four-case lacquer inro, in gold, black, red, green, brown, yellow and white togidashi on a ginji(silver) ground, depicting two merchants wives returning from Hanami after viewing cherry blossom, rats incorporated into the fan design, en suite with a two part manju netsuke depicting a kiseruzutsu and tobacco pouch in togidashi on a kinji ground, the clasp of the pouch in the form of a rat, signed Unryuan. Height 8.2 cm. Width 5.5 cm, original wood box. Provenance: cat No. 11, the rat (November)
