A World War I and later diary of B C Scott of Wanganui, who served from 1941-1945 primarily in the Pacific theatre, the diary, although not filled in on a regular basis gives graphic accounts of 'rial combat in the Pacific and is of some importance. He has used the diary post war as a travel log. Also with the lot is a very complete album documenting his military service, the album has many images of aircraft and of the Pacific, and area not often recognised as being a theatre in which the Royal New Zealand Air Force saw very active combat. Almost all images are annotated and numerous members of the Rnzaf are identified. of note is the fact that Scott survived a plane crash in New Zealand during which other members of his crew died. a very complete collection
