A small Chinese lacquered brise fan, Qing dynasty, early 19th century, each of the nineteen sticks and the guards decorated in gold and white on a black ground, with a central shaped cartouche finely detailed with a genre scene of a village landscape, surrounded by floral scrolls, the top of each stick with a single figure in a landscape,water-gilded frame, canes appromiately 26.5 cm long.
