A large Chinese parcel-gilt bronze figure of Buddha Shakyamuni, late Ming dynasty, 16th/17th century, seated in vajrasana, the left hand in bhumisparsa mudra, the right hand in dhiyani mudra. A swastika on his chest, seated on a lotus flower issuing from a pedestal base, flanked by two attendant figures, each one standing on a lotus flower, Sealed. Height 36 cm
