A silver plate on copper samovar of Georgian style, the oval bowl raised on four fluted legs with lion mask capitals and paw feet, upon a quatrefoil plinth raised on ball feet. Lion mask and ring handles issue from the sides of the vessel, the conforming domed cover is surmounted by a sphinx finial, the tap with ivory finial spigot. Height 46.5 cm
