A Louis Vuitton vintage travelling trunk. Oblong shape, bound with beech strapping, monogram printed canvas covered, the edges with monogrammed leather clashing and with brass caps, bindings, lock furniture and studs, all with L.V. Stamps, the lock with impressed No. 049511, the interior with linen lining, the lid lined with Louis Vuitton ribbon trellis, original label and printed No. 741850. Missing tray. Leather handles to either end, original steel roller casters, owner's initials E.M.L. Painted to either end. 81 cm x 47.5 cm x 340. See inside back cover.
