Description:
Dame Lucie Rie and Hans Coper, six place coffee set, comprising a coffee pot and milk jug each with side handles, sugar basin and six cups and saucers. Stoneware with manganese glaze with sgraffito banding to the exterior and white tin glazed interior, the coffee pot with a small chip to the rim of the spout. Impressed Lr and Hc seal marks to the base of the cups, the coffee pot, milk jug and sugar basin with Lr seal marks, circa 1960.
