A Chinese yellow boxwood incense holder, or Message container, 18/19th century, 34 cm long. Very well-carved, with a scene of immortals, pine and rocks, the cover in the form of two peaches, inscribed fitted Japanese wooden box. Provenance: R & V Tregaskis; Japanese Private collection.
