A rare Japanese cloisonne vesta, Meiji period, 1868-1912, very finely decorated with a flower scroll between stylised borders, all within gold wires, gilt rims, signed inside the hinged lid, 'Namikawa Yasayuki' in four characters. Original wood box and copy of the pattern (illustrated in the Namikawa pattern book). Provenance: A Sydney private collection. 4.4 x 3.3 cm
