A 19th century Thai (Bangkok) gilded bronze Buddha, seated in dhyanasana, his right hand in bhumisparsa mudra and his left in dhyana mudra, his hair in rings of tight curls and a flame rising from his usnisha, his downcast eyes and serene contemplative expression framed by winged panels about his pendulous earlobes, dressed in richly decorated fitted robes and seated on a shaped waisted pedestal with five seated monks at his attendance, the whole on a six tiered figural base cast with five rows of monks on a floral decorated base, 20 cm wide 20 cm deep 29 cm high
