A Continental painted porcelain plaque 'Faust & Marguerite', circa 1900, signed E Furlaud (after Victor Tissot), depicting a medieval courtyard scene with men, women and children dressed in costume of the day, bordered by a cobalt and gilt enamelled border and inscribed Musee du Luxembourg, Faust & Marguerite d'apres Victor Tissot, set within a moulded gilt frame, the plaque 29 x 38.5 cm.
