Buffer plate for locomotive 'D3 - 638' cast metal, raised 'D3' and rectangular plate with raised number '638', part of lower left corner of '638' missing, wear commensurate with age largest 29 cm high, 60 cm wide, 1.5 cm deep other notes This was a steam locomotive owned but not used by West Coast rail. Previously it was in the service of the Victorian Government.
