An exceptional 18th century Meissen potpourri and cover, the marbleized urn which is decorated with heads of Bacchus and flora and held aloft by cherubs and a swan, the whole entwined with garlands of flowers and highlighted with gilt, the cover being in the form of a clam shell. U nmarked, some minor chips to flowers and reeds on the base. Height 34 cm
