A rare and exceptionally fine Satsuma beaker by Sozan, decorated with a continuous scene of ducks in a stream and on the bank the interior with wisteria hanging down from the gilt rim the rest of the interior plain. All executed in minute details. Signed on the base in a gilt gourd shaped cartouche. Height 8 cm. Diameter 7.5 cm
