A fine tapered cylindrical form Satsuma vase with four panels, one panel with two Bijin and a child in a garden setting, the other panel with a group of women by a lake, the smaller panels decorated with wisteria and bamboo respectively, the four delightfully painted and gilded panels on a grey ground, the shoulder and base are decorated with birds, floral and geometric patterns. Signed on base. Height 24 cm
