A fine quality spectacular Louis Philipe Sevres hand painted vase of Grand Proportions, exquisitely painted with a romantic rustic centre panel, depicting a resting couple by a well. This exceptional quality vase decorated both front and reverse, the back being a panoramic lake scene, the vase is base beautifully gilded on blue ground with ormolu base and winged angels to the shoulders surmounted with a gilded cover and acorn finial. Museum quality signed by noted Sevres artist Gilbert. Height 108 cm
