Joseph Sly double ended sofa, of NSW origin in Australian Colonial cedar, the shaped back with a large central carving of a flower and foliage flanked by well carved and moulded scrolls above scrolling upholstered ends, carved to the front with foliage and acanthus and leading to the moulded apron, all raised on turned legs with porcelain castors C1840's.
