A fine William and Mary marquetry inlaid walnut clock, Christopher Gould, London, circa 1700, the 11inch square brass dial engraved with foliate scrolls and score lines to borders, signed along the lower edge 'Chr. Gould Londoni fecit', cherub mask spandrels, silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, date aperture and subsidiary silvered seconds ring, winding holes and blue steeled hands, anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on bell.
