A large 'Longquan' celadon dragon dish, early Ming Dynasty, with shallow rounded sides and everted rim, the interior moulded with a scaly dragon pursuing a 'Flaming Pearl' beside cloud scrolls in a central medallion within a continuous band of scrolling waves carved around the cavetto, all beneath the bluish-green glaze 37.5 cm.
