An Australian cedar and rose mahogany work table, circa 1840, the rectangular cedar top cross banded with moulded edges above cross banded frieze with turned inverted finials to corners, the work box covered in deep red silk, the side supports flared and divided in peg design, united by a turned stretcher with applied patera terminals, resting on rectangular round bases, applied patera and on squat bun53.
