An ivory carving of the Hehe Erxian, Qing Dynasty, 19th century, one standing holding a circular box above his head, his left hand holding a fly whisk behind his back, the other kneeling holding stems of lotus, both with laughing expression, supported on a soapstone rockwork base (3) 16.5 cm, these are the two immortals of Harmony and Unity, presiding over harmonious marriages.
