A fine Japanese cloisonne box, the hinged lid decorated with a panel depicting a bird in flight amongst flowers on a ground of flower head motifs on a dark green ground, the walls similarly decorated. The gilt metal interior engraved with a swimming koi carp and rocky outcrops, the underside of the box decorated with fine inlaid wire floral design and raised on small bracket feet. 12 cm x 11 cm x 5.5 cm
