A late William IV Scottish sterling silver coffee pot maker's mark Robert Gray & Son, Glasgow 1837 of slender ovoid form, with ornate chased and embossed foliate decoration and an engraved armorial crest to either side, flanked by a leaf capped scroll handle with ivory fillets and a conforming spout, surmounted by a foliate decorated domed lid and bud finial, raised on scroll feet united by pierced floriate swags, duty mark to base, 1132 grs. Total weight, 24 cm high
