A squat circular two section cinnabar lacquer box, one side deeply carved with a mythological Kylin with waters issuing from his mouth, surrounded by numerous koy carp, precious objects and flowers. The other side decorated with two foo dogs playing with a silk ribbon tie diaper pattern ball. Diameter 17.5 cm. Height 6 cm. old repair to one section.
